Mealtimes are a time to be relished. Breakfast in your room, full English or Continental, a wide choice of lunches and afternoon teas. Supper in the evening. Food is so important to get right and to be personal to you in terms of what you like and how you like it. Your diet and preferences plan an important role in your daily routine and care planning.
Our chefs have a wealth of experience up and down the country and not only design outstanding seasonal menus but also turn meal times into a true dining experience, and excel in creating nutritious meals that cater for all tastes!
Food and nutrition are key areas in any care home. Our kitchen is completely new stainless steel and all-electric. We have limited freezer storage so that food is brought in fresh and meals are prepared on-site. Temperature controls, infection controls and hygiene controls are all embodied in a closely controlled policy procedure that our catering team observes.
Local produce is sourced from local suppliers. Where we can, we will always buy British and buy local grown and bred.
No meal is complete without the accoutrements and refreshments. A glass of wine with a meal is not only relaxing but can aid digestion. Given that we have our Sky Bar too on the top floor, a selection of alcoholic beverages is available as well as cocktails and mocktails!
